So the Walt Disney Company announced last week that they opening run of "The Little Mermaid" Broadway Musical was going to be held in Denver, CO (of all places) before it goes to Broadway.
This decision makes ZERO sense to me! Why would they do that? I mean, this is a story about a Mermaid and a crab and the ocean... last time I checked, Denver wasn't quite the ocean-get-away.
Why the middle of the country of all places? Why not Boston (on the ocean) or, even better, Miami (a "tropical" ocean location), or even Chicago (it is at least on a lake!).
Guess Disney wants Ariel to take up skiing now that she has legs?!
Okay again, just a bad decision!
