How well does your name Google? Who are you up against? (Celebrities, etc.)

really good. picture of me comes right up.
This next Mai Tai I think was the best one that I had. As you can see, NO PINK and a healthy amount of Meyers! It was ordered and drank at a place called "Cheeseburger in Paradise" in Maui. This place actually isn't owned by Jimmy Buffett and he actually tried to sue them because of the name (but lost). It was highly recommended but we were told all the food is awesome except for the Cheeseburgers. We orders lots and it was good. I guess they are branching out of Hawaii but this on in Maui was the original. Very Good Mai Tai!
So when we were in Maui, we headed to a beautiful restaurant on the beach called Big Mama's Fish House. This place is exactly what you would expect... tikis, bamboo, even tropical birds.... the perfect location on the beach.
So we sit down for a few drinks and I decide that I for sure need a Mai Tai from this joint. Well, you'll see a picture of it below...
It isn't pink, which is a good start... it had lots of Meyers, another good start... also a real orchid floating was a nice touch and the tiki glass (similar to ones at the Poly) was a bonus!
The taste was wonderful... full of rum goodness like a Mai Tai should taste.
But the bill was a little out of control... $15 for 1 drink! WOW! While it was good... not sure if it was $15 good, but it was vacation and Hawaii so it was all worth it.
So while in Hawaii we visited the Volcano National Park. Very cool place if you haven't been... anyway, there are lots of stops along the way and at one of the stops I saw this sign...
Is there some sort of problem with people doing this? Why is this sign needed? Could the volcano go all crazy if rocks are piled?
Later the first night in Waikiki we went to one of the greatest places EVER... it was called Tikis and it HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you ever find yourself there. It is on the second floor of a place called ResortQuest right on the beach. This, however, was not a Mai Tai... it was the special Tiki Punch! Also, you should get the Pork Quesidillas! They are to die for! But total props for this place go to my friend Gretchen... she said I would love it and I did!
So as we've learned in last week's blog, I went to Hawaii... and while in Hawaii I drank a good amount of drinks (mostly Mai Tais) and thought I'd share the pictures and stories of them....
This is the first Mai Tai... served at the Hyatt in Waikiki. Now many are probably going to point out that a Mai Tai shouldn't be pink... it shouldn't, but it was free so who am I to complain? And, the great part is that I got like 4 of them and each time they had more and more rum! I love the Hyatt!
More drinks to come....
So Angry Tiki will get VERY angry if I don't blog so here I am... blogging.
I have lots to say about my crazy adventures in Hawaii... but I need more time with that one.
However, I will talk about my new camera. It is the new, waterproof Olympus camera and it is AMAZING! I love everything about it! It has like 25 different settings and they all, for the most part, work for what they say. But the best feature is that it can go up to 10 feet underwater. Obviously 10 feet is not much and you're not going to do any deep water diving with it, but it is perfect for snorkling in Hawaii. So here are just a few samples of pictures that came out really well.
What's your favorite blend or brand of coffee or tea?
Funny you should ask as I'm drinking Original Dunkin' Donuts Coffee. I didn't start drinking coffee until I lived in Boston for 4 months... there is a Dunkin' on ever corner in Boston so that's the coffee you drink up there. Love it!

Buy me beer (specifically Corona) or rum.... or take me to get chicken wings and beer (specifically at the greatest wing place ever, Hooters).
